... one that our favorite little 3 year old obviously doesn't possess!  I asked her, "Did you eat the Cheetoes," and she sweetly answered, "No, Mommy, I didn't." 

Normally, I'm on her side.  If she says she didn't do something, I'm on her side and generally believe it.  Today ... not so much!



THIS was the evidence, orangey-cheese around her sweet little mug, that gave her away.  After that, I decided to not fight the fight and let her have her beloved Cheetoe's!

Carter and I took a bag full of bread to share with our favorite area duckies.  Both Carter and the duckies had a ball!

Andy's worked very hard to get our new website running in tip-top shape.  One reason for our recent changes: the addition of our recipe page!  Like Kelsey and Rory, I wanted to share our gems with you.  Ours are easy, promise!, because heaven knows I can't cook anything of much difficulty!

Awhile back, to encourage the brushing of her teeth, Andy told Carter that if she didn't brush, he teeth would fall out (explain to me HOW this is really that different from telling her eggs would grow in her tummy if she drank pool water?!!).  Needless to say, she's not too keen on the happening, so she's all for brushing her teeth!

At her last check-up, we switched to normal kids toothpaste, versus the tasty bubblegum kind we'd been using, because she likes to suck on the brush and swallow the toothpaste (ick!  I know!).  She's not a fan of the new blue flavor, but really likes her teeth brushed.  THIS is why we generally help her:



"I don't like the blue kind, Mommy!"  That's why we don't eat toothpaste!



And, for the record, we also don't wear it as an accessory or as make up!

Seriously.  THIS is why I'M such a crazy birthday person!  I think we've been celebrating Carter's birthday for nearly a week now!

This evening we had our family birthday, with just Andy, Carter and I.  We had birthday cake and pizza (Carter's favorite) and she opened all of her gifts from her party.  She is one lucky and very loved little girl!  She received some really fun Polly Pockets and Barbie's, adorable outfits, a really neat camera and walkie talkie and some play/dress up toys.  A lucky girl who's VERY APPRECIATIVE of all her friends and family!  Thanks guys!
