We picked up Charlie’s last VEEO learning packet, and we shared our thanks!
Then we headed downtown to hunt Pokes!
And we were silly!
And, these sweet souls, they let me snap some cute ones!
We had 3:00 dentist appointments and a tooth that takes “snaggle” to a whole new world! Charlie came downstairs moments before we were ready to leave and said, “Uh, we have a problem!” holding his tooth. Actually, problem solved!
The Chaos Coordinators got together, virtually, to start planning our escape! We’ve got a road trip in the works!
Today I played fortnite in the morning. And talked a little bit the rest was yelling. We also went to pokemon go today and that was fun. We took some pictures at the sculpture garden. We did some pokemon go and had some jimmy jones.
We donned a couple cute outfits and returned to the Sculpture Garden. We snapped a couple cutesie sibling poses, and then we hunted Pokemon. We crossed paths with a PR family member, and we chatted with a couple metro folks. It was great to be a part of the world, but it still hurts to the core to see our world shut down, in this strange state of peril. Some spots are open, others still closed. Some are requiring masks and no children, others are fully open. Just a strange state of pause right now!
Slow rolling our day!
Our final 7A meeting ended in a fun Kahoot! with the kids!
Tuesday Week Nine
One week left before Coronaversary! J and Kelsey’s birthdays are on the same day, so we are going to have a celebration for them both for the ten-week Coronaversary. I slept in today, like yesterday, and played more SoulSilver. Most of the characters have evolved by now, so I’ll need to draw more designs. I did some health homework for school time, and Mom made Charlie and I lunch.
Wednesday Week Nine
I got up on time today, and ate the toaster strudel that marks halfway through the last box. We didn’t do any creative time, but I finished the design for Callie last night, after dance. I’ve been listening to Insurgence while I work, and I’m on Season Two now. I’ve also been working on my SS nuzlocke, and did a bit more health for my school time.
Today’s field trip led us to the Neal Smith Reserve in Prairie City
They were in awe of these big ol’d bison!
Always a hand-holder <3
We headed to Prairie City to the Neal Smith Reserve today. It was a glimpse into the past, and it was really cool! We stopped along the gravel road into the reserve to watch the bison, literally feet away from us! They were huge! And they kinda sound like Charlie when they eat 😉 Then we drove into the reserve, and hiked the loop. Charlie was tired and whiny, but Carter was up the to 2 miles! It was literally like Little House on the Prairie, and it was super cool!
The governor continues to lift restrictions. State parks have opened, and this week restaurants, businesses, and shops have been aloud to reopen. With restriction, of course, but life is slowly resuming. We’ve started lifting restrictions, too. We started with letting the boys play together outside, six feet apart. Then we loosened up and let Owen and Charlie picnic and hang out to play. Today we let Beans and Rice, join in. Slowly, life may return to some state of normal …
We loved up on and celebrated our kids today, as they came to pick up their school items. “Rough” barely covers it. It was both awesome and hearbreaking to see kids and families again. To take care of one another, we gathered for driveway drinks. We ended up ranking hard seltzers and sharing tons of laughs!
Man oh man, I have missed this chaos!
